Job ID: 1018Location: Onsite- Pantex Plant- Amarillo, TX- Per Diem available for those who qualifyStart: Immediately, Long-term assignment Must be US CitizenClearance: Active DOE L or Q (or DOD Secret of Top-Secret) security clearance preferred. Uncleared candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.Requirements:
- B.S. Degree from an ABET accredited Engineering program plus 10 - 14 years of direct experience required, or MA/MS with 10 – 13 years of experience in documented safety analysis.
- Successful drug screening.
- B.S. Degree from an ABET accredited Engineering program plus 20 years of direct experience with 10 years of DOE-specific experience required, or MA/MS Degree, plus 18 years of direct experience with 10 years of DOE-specific experience.
- Provide nuclear safety technical support services in accordance with 10 CFR 830 Subpart B and applicable standards such as DOE-STD-3009-94 and DOE-STD-1189-2008.
- Utilize demonstrated experience in the hazard identification, hazard screening, and hazard evaluation process.
- Perform accident and consequence analysis process.
- Assist with engineered and/or administrative controls credited for the prevention or mitigation of postulated accidents.
- Document the results of these processes in safety analysis reports, documented safety analyses, and technical safety requirements.
